What Happened?
The Premier Soccer League announced the fixtures for the Carling Knockout Cup round of 16 following the draw conducted on Tuesday.
Kaizer Chiefs will travel to Tshwane to face SuperSport United as they look to turn their fortunes around under new coach Nasreddine Nabi.
In contrast, Mamelodi Sundowns, led by Manqoba Mngqithi, will host Golden Arrows in Pretoria.
Orlando Pirates, fresh off their recent MTN8 title defense, will welcome PSL newcomers Magesi FC as they aim to secure a second trophy this season.

The Bigger Picture
The Carling Knockout Cup offers all 16 Premier Soccer League teams the chance to compete for a domestic trophy in the 2024-25 season. The tournament winner will face an All-Star team in the Carling Cup on December 21, 2024, at Orlando Stadium, with fans participating by voting for the Man of the Match during games and selecting players for the All-Star team.
The inaugural edition of this competition, which replaced the Telkom Knockout, was won by Stellenbosch last year after they defeated TS Galaxy 5-4 on penalties in the final.
